  Itawamba School District

The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001(NCLB) requires school, district, and state report cards containing three general areas of information: school improvement, teacher qualifications, and test data. The report must contain information about the professional qualifications of teachers in core academic subject areas. Highly qualified teachers are those who satisfied the NCLB criteria during the school year. The report card must also contain achievement data for specific subgroups, two-year achievement trends, and student participation. District and State data may be viewed on our website by clicking here.

Itawamba County school buses will run the morning of Friday, February 22, 2019, but bus drivers will not travel flooded roads that they feel are dangerous. If your child rides a bus and it does not come to your house in the morning, please have your child give the school a note Monday explaining this, and your child's absence will be excused. If you live on a flooded road and bring your child to school, please make arrangements to also pick your child up from school in the evening, since the bus will not travel the flooded road. We are sorry if this inconveniences anyone, but student safety is our primary concern.

The School Board will hold its next regular monthly meeting on Monday, March 4, 2019, at 6:30 P.M.
